25/06 - 05/09/2026
As part of Art Nou 2026, we present Caterina Miralles’ solo exhibition. The exhibition reflects on how architecture operates as a form of monumental fiction. The staging of the city’s historic neighborhoods, shaped by the “Barcelona brand” project, reveals a series of fissures that become testimonies to social resistance. It is within these cracks that the artist develops a sharp and satirical revisionist perspective.
The exhibition brings together large-scale installation works made from the industrial material Concrete Canvas, evoking the act of covering buildings. It also includes editions, hand-embroidered works, drawings, archival materials, postcards, and a video installation documenting distinctive corners of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, marked by significant speculative intervention.
