FUGA is an independent gallery initiative that brings together a curated selection of artists with multidisciplinary approaches, located in the range between the visual, the poetic, the material and the conceptual. Its curatorial approach is characterised by its interest in proposals that push the boundaries of artistic language and consider art as an essential instrument for interpreting the present and expanding forms of perception.
The gallery arises from a personal concern that becomes a group commitment: to provide an environment where art is not only shown, but also dialogues, questions and encourages new interpretations. FUGA, beyond representation, attends to processes, encourages experimentation and keeps an analytical eye on contemporary practices.
With a solid commitment to the local and national art scene, FUGA is actively involved in its transformation, maintaining a permanent dialogue with the discourses and tendencies of current art.
FUGA considers itself as a gathering point where research, production and critical reflection coexist.
