MEGA Art Fair
MEGA Art Fair is a fair of emerging galleries based in Milan. The gallery FUGA participates in the fair with its project The Body as Membrane, featuring an exhibition of three artists: Anna Ill, Krystel Liliana, and Emma Scarafiotti, whose practices converge in creating new imaginaries of the body.
Krystel’s artistic practice focuses on working with beeswax. Through the works presented at the MEGA Art Fair, she develops a dialogue around intimacy, fragility, and femininity, through pieces such as Pink Room and Dress.
Emma Scarafiotti
Loop Fair
Born in Maracaibo (Venezuela), her work focuses on diasporic logics shaped by Caribbean thought. In 2022, she created the video essay presented at Loop Fair, ¿Se puede deletrear la hoja?, in which she explores issues such as categorization, exoticization, and the preservation of flora from the Global South, through an exercise of personifying the subject within vegetal elements.

By Invitation
The FUGA gallery took part in the By Invitation fair alongside the artist Lena Laguna, a unique proposal that focuses on contemporary art and creates a meeting point for dialogue between artists, collectors, and gallerists.
