His work often begins with poetry and expands into multiple fields including essay writing, pedagogy, research, translation, video, and performance. He frequently works collaboratively with artists, filmmakers, publishers, bookstores, galleries, and museums. Some of his texts have been translated into English, French, Greek, Dutch, Turkish, and Portuguese.
He has collaborated with institutions such as MACBA, the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, Filmoteca de Catalunya, the CCCB, and the Biennal de Venècia (Catalan Pavilion, 2019), among many others. He has also written articles, short stories, and chronicles for publications including El País, elDiario.es, A*DESK, Branca, El Temps de les Arts, Catalunya Plural, and Berlin Quarterly. In 2018, he received the Montserrat Roig Grant.
His latest poetry collection, Apunts per a un incendi dels ulls, gave its title to a collective exhibition at MACBA. Prior to this, the book was launched through a 24-hour performance in the window display of Documenta bookstore (December 2020). The project later expanded into the action “Passió i cartografia per a un incendi dels ulls,” which the museum subsequently published as a book.
La nit portuguesa (Contra, 2021) is a chronicle of the filming of Liberté, a film by Albert Serra, with whom he has collaborated on numerous occasions. The book offers an in-depth report on the collective creation of a film.
Constantly moving across disciplines, he has also developed performative and action-based works such as (-N-O-E-M-A-) (Centre ARBAR and Centre d’Art Maristany, 2022), La secta de la trena (with Rosa Tharrats, Festus, 2022), L’ajudant (Bombon Projects, 2021), and Random Shit (Bombon Projects, 2024).
As a translator, he has translated works by Samuel Beckett, Sarah Holland-Batt, Jen George, Judith Thurman, and Joseph Brodsky.
Together with Rosa Tharrats, he wrote, produced, and directed two audiovisual works: Els miracles del Mestre Cabestany (2023, Loop Festival) and El riu era verd i blau i groc, presented at Manifesta 15 (Barcelona, 2024) and the Festival Márgenes (2024). They also co-created the micro-opera Aura (2025), with music by Marina Herlop and production by the Liceu, MACBA, and CCCB.
One of his most recent collaborations involved the historical and literary research behind LUX (2025) by Rosalía. The research materialized in a publication of the same title, released at the beginning of the LUX world tour (March 2026).
Since 2019, he has been an associate professor of creative writing and communication at BAU, Barcelona University Centre of Design. Since 2024, he has also been co-director of the POESIA i + festival.
